When there’s a strong US dollar and negative investor sentiment, Gold seems to lose its shine. Just yesterday, gold prices fell to near a one-month low amid sharp declines in precious metals due to a stronger dollar, with looming Federal Reserve interest rate hikes also denting bullion’s appeal. But gold prices edged a little higher today, helped by a slight pullback in the dollar, although lingering worries over further aggressive US interest rate hikes kept gains in check.
