The Monetary Authority of Singapore tightened its monetary policy for the fifth time in a year, boosting its support for the Singapore dollar to fight inflation, but the move was not as aggressive as widely expected. The International Renewable Energy Agency is an intergovernmental organisation that supports countries in their transition to a sustainable energy future. This year marks the second Singapore-IRENA High-Level Forum which will focus on much needed investments in the region.  IRENA has highlighted that by 2050, a total of US$33 trillion of additional investment—an increase of 30%—will be required to be on track for a 1.5°C pathway.
