More than 150 world leaders are gathered in New York as the 78th Session of the UN General Assembly kicks off this week. The spotlight is on Ukraine yet again, but is there room for other global priorities at UN leaders’ gathering?
Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has been criticised for announcing plans to roll back on climate change commitments on the same day world leaders met at a UN climate summit.

Euro Watch: Ukraine Recovery Conference pledges billions in aid for war-torn country
Ukraine, in the upcoming Ukraine Recovery Conference 2023 conference in London, will look to ensure US and European investment in their recovery and rebuilding after the Ukraine-Russian war.
French President Emmanuel Macron will be hosting world leaders in Paris this week for a summit to reimagine global financing for a new era. It will put issues surrounding debt that poorer countries have incurred as the primary focus.
