According to a new report from cloud banking platform Mambu, 30 percent of Singaporean consumers are more willing to change financial service providers than they were prior to the pandemic. According to a recent study, more than half of respondents said they’d never heard of open banking, in spite of the large percentage of people using at least one app to manage their banking and finance, which utilise open banking protocols.
Cloud banking platform, Mambu, conducted the global survey into attitudes around open banking  - Mambu’s Managing Director APAC, Myles Bertrand says the study highlights the fact that even in countries where open banking has been around for years, consumers are still scared of it and don’t really understand what it is.
