Eco Money: How will COVID-19 change sustainability reporting for listed companies in Singapore?
COVID-19 has forced many businesses to reevaluate business models and strategies. This in turn, has required a need for listed companies to communicate to investors on material changes as and when developments arise.
Going forward, in the latest regulators column, SGX RegCo highlighted what it expects of Sustainability Reporting during COVID-19 times.

How to hold AGMs amid COVID-19 pandemic
In an update on 31 March, the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority, Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Singapore Exchange Regulation Co said that companies that want to have general meetings before April 30 are allowed to go ahead. However, the AGMs can only happen if they allow shareholders to ask questions and vote by proxy, and live-stream the meeting.
