Culture Club: ACM adds Andrew Gn’s design worn by Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales to its latest special exhibition
If you remember, Catherine, Princess of Wales was wearing a green dress at the Trooping the Colour ceremony that took place on 17 June. But did you know that she has worn a design by a Singaporean designer before?
You can now see this dress here in Singapore. The Asian Civilisations Museum has added a new dress to its ongoing special exhibition Andrew Gn: Fashioning Singapore and the World, a retrospective tracing the fashion journey of one of Singapore’s most prolific designers. Kennie Ting, Director, ACM and Peranakan Museum shares more.
