US Markets Wrap: Recession will depend on productivity, labour costs and wage data
Kathryn Rooney Vera, Chief Market Strategist at StoneX Group shares her insights on some of the latest corporate earnings reports, non-tech sectors to look at such as the industrials, materials, banks, Fitch Ratings' downgrading the US from AAA, a ranking the nation has held at Fitch since at least 1994 to AA+.
But most importantly, the key data coming up this week, such as July's ADP Non-Farm Employment Change and the Nonfarm Payrolls, to get a closer look at productivity versus labour costs versus wages - factors that will determine if the US can avoid a recession.
