The two-day virtual event is the largest investment conference in Australia, and will host over 1000 institutional investors, fund managers, CFOs, and CEOs from Australia, New Zealand and around the globe.

Attendees will hear central bankers, policy makers, economists and CEOs address the key issues facing the financial markets in a post-COVID era.

Citi Australia and New Zealand CEO, Marc Luet, says the conference is uniquely timed to discuss the US election, the outlook for local and global monetary and fiscal policy, geopolitics, and how best to navigate the ongoing market volatility caused by the pandemic.

"This year has already presented unprecedented challenges, but the volatility associated with 2020 is not over yet. With just weeks until the US election, our clients are seeking further insight into how the outcome will impact markets.

"Additionally, the aggressive and innovative shifts in global monetary and fiscal policy have helped boost investor and consumer confidence in key markets, but investors are still asking if this stimulus will be ongoing and querying the impact on asset valuations.

"At this year's conference we will discuss these key questions and also learn more about the disruption underway in bio technology, payments and defence sectors. We will hear how Citi's clients, many of them leading innovators themselves, are taking advantage of the advances in technology and market conditions to achieve their own strategic goals," Mr Luet said.

Other speakers presenting at the Citi Investment Conference include; Reserve Bank of New Zealand's Assistant Governor Christian Hawkesby, Citi's global CEO Mike Corbat, Founder and CIO of Balyasny Asset Management, Dmitry Balyasny and Citi's Global Head of Government Affairs, Candi Wolff.

Citi's leading global analysts on equities, debt, currencies and commodities will also share their insights and trade ideas, and panel discussions will explore a range of topics including; Online Retail and the Digital Transformation; Healthcare: Lessons learned from the pandemic; US/China Relations and the Implications for Australia; and Energy Markets: Have we passed the low point?
