14/09/23 - A President For Everyone: As she bids farewell, Mdm Halimah said the unwavering support by Singaporeans fuelled her determination to serve69-year-old Halimah Yacob marked the end of her term as Singapore’s eighth President on September 13, with a farewell reception at the Istana.
In her final remarks as the nation's head of state after a six-year term, Mdm Halimah called it a privilege to be the voice of Singaporeans and expressed gratitude for the chance to inspire and empower other women.
