There’s a new art exhibition called Spirit of Life, happening from the 19th of September to the 13th of October which features two amazing artists: Kate Florence and Sylvie Kettle who are pushing boundaries in such a unique way. Kate’s known for her dreamy, ethereal pieces, and Sylvie’s work has that grounded, earthy vibe yet they complement each other beautifully. And Cassi Young is the brilliant curator who helped bring this exhibition to life and woven these two artistic voices together into a single exhibition. Singapore stocks began trading in the negative territory today, although global equities largely rose overnight. In early trade, the Straits Times Index (STI) fell 0.5 per cent to 3,576.13 points after 46.4 million securities changed hands in the broader market. In terms of companies to watch, we have Sembcorp. Also, a baby pygmy hippo, named Moo Deng, has become a viral sensation at Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Thailand. Fans have praised Moo Deng, calling her a lifestyle icon and the most beautiful girl in the world, but despite her popularity, officials have raised concerns about her safety. Visitors have thrown water and other objects at her, resulting to the zoo announcing that visitors will only see her Saturdays and Sundays, with each visit capped at five minutes.
