Pesto, a brown, chocolatey, and fluffy baby penguin in Australia, has become a viral superstar, with popstar Katy Perry visiting it. Born in January, Pesto is the largest baby penguin the aquarium has ever seen, weighing 22.5 kilograms. Also, Canadian photographer Patricia Homonylo won the Bird Photographer of the Year award for her image "When Worlds Collide," which depicts over 4,000 birds killed by collisions with windows and reflective surfaces. The image, taken in Toronto, features a wild turkey surrounded by smaller birds.

Singapore stocks began the day trading in positive territory, mirroring overnight gains in global markets. On Market View, The Evening Runway’s finance presenter Chua Tian Tian unpacked the developments with Jeff Ng, Head of Asia Macro Strategy, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.

How far will generative AI give the recovering computing industry a shot in the arm? Speaking of generative AI, Lenovo had in September 2024 unveiled its latest advancements at Lenovo Innovation World 2024 in Berlin, where it launched a series of artificial intelligence PC devices powered by processors from Intel, Advanced Micro Devices and Qualcomm. But how would the firm assess its relationship with the semiconductor makers and big tech firms, and how does the company assess its market position in the PC and technology space in the AI Era?
