26/02/25 - Wealth Tracker: Crypto sell-offs - Is this the end of the boom or a start of a new winter?Bitcoin kicked off the year in rally mode, fueled by optimism about the positive changes the new Trump administration was expected to make for the crypto industry.
But that seems to have come to an end.
Bitcoin has tumbled below $90,000 to hit the lowest level since mid-November, as the rally that followed Donald Trump’s election to the White House reverses under the weight of his trade tariffs and a string of industry setbacks.
Other cryptocurrencies also fell, with Ether, XRP and Solana down sharply. What’s causing this sell-off? Is this the end of the crypto boom.. And the start of another crypto winter?
On The Wealth Tracker, Hongbin Jeong speaks with Ornella Hernandez, Presenter, Moniify Playbook to find out more.

25/02/25 - Market View: Trump’s tariffs on China - How much of a ripple effect could this have on Asian markets? The real estate sector saw notable movements as several REITs and property companies reported weaker rental income and lower distributions, signalling a shift in the local market.
Also, President Donald Trump’s protectionist trade measures, including tariffs on semiconductors, autos, and pharmaceuticals, are raising concerns about disruptions to global supply chains.

25/02/25 - The Big Story: DBS to reduce 4,000 contract and temp jobs in 3 years. Is AI taking over roles?DBS Group Holdings expects to reduce its contract and temporary staff by around 4,000 over the next three years as AI increasingly takes on roles carried out by human beings.
Elsewhere, global banks will cut as many as 200,000 jobs in the next three to five years as AI encroaches on tasks currently carried out by human workers, said a Bloomberg Intelligence (BI) report in January.
Still, many firms have stressed that the shift will result in roles being changed by technology, rather than replaced altogether.
But roles in the banking sector are set to be affected by the rise of AI? What AI trends can we expect to see in the next few years?
On The Big Story, Hongbin Jeong speaks with Professor Boh Wai Fong, Vice President (Lifelong Learning & Alumni Engagement) and President’s Chair in Information Systems at Nanyang Technological University’s Nanyang Business School.
