The scam behind the squares: How to spot a fraudulent QR code
The use of QR codes have been on the rise due to Covid-19. And with the rise of its usage, QR code scams have actually been making headlines all over the world! As shocking as it may sound, these types of scams have become common on e-commerce platforms where fraudsters loot users because of the latter's lack of knowledge about online payments. George Lee, Vice President, Asia Pacific, and Japan, RSA shares what we can do to spot a fraudulent QR code and how businesses can protect their customers from such scams.

Singapore businesses and their employees still engage in cybersecurity compromising behaviours
Last month, the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) revealed that almost half of Singaporeans suffered at least 1 cybersecurity lapse in past year. In the CSA survey, it is said that almost half, or 48 per cent, of Singaporeans had experienced at least one cyber incident in the past 12 months.This includes being hacked, having one’s data stolen, or receiving a lot of pop-up advertisements because persistent pop-ups are a common sign of malware infection. George Lee is Vice President of network security company, RSA in Asia Pacific and Japan and he joins us to talk us through it.
